Each leads on to a private deck with plunge pool and a Sala, an outdoor day bed, all with a spectacular view of the riverbed. The intimate Fitzpatrick’s Lodge is stylishly appointed to offer the ultimate private villa experience, accommodating small groups and families on an exclusive-use basis. The villa comes complete with its own staff compliment and dedicated ranger with a private game viewing vehicle, offering guided game drives twice daily to explore the 6,000-hectare private concession, which is known for its exhilarating Big 5 sightings and other interesting game encounters.

The main lodge facilities include indoor and outdoor dining areas, a gift boutique, a relaxation retreat with a sauna and exercise room, a library with a television and DVD player, a swimming pool, and complimentary Wi-Fi in the main areas of the lodge.

The twelve luxurious thatched suites offer exclusive privacy, blending verdant trees and reed walls into their design. These spacious suites feature an en-suite bathroom with an outdoor shower and luxury amenities, air-conditioning, a private minibar, tea and coffee-making facilities, a private deck with a plunge pool, and a private “Sala” (outdoor daybed) overlooking the river and bushveld.
