Set along a curve of the Monwana River in the exclusive Thornybush Nature Reserve, Saseka Tented Camp is one of the most design-forward safari lodges in the Greater Kruger. It offers an intimate Big Five experience where vintage safari charm meets bold contemporary design.  Created by renowned design duo Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, the camp brings together steel-framed silhouettes, antique furniture and botanical ceilings in a masterful reimagining of early explorer style. Meals and moments are shared on Saseka’s tiered deck beneath a one-of-a-kind ceiling that mimics dappled sunlight through trees, while water trickles nearby and the bush stretches out beyond.

Each of Saseka Tented Camp’s 8 suites is designed for two guests and positioned for complete privacy. Spacious and elegant, they open onto riverbed-facing decks with private plunge pools, inviting uninterrupted views of the bush. Inside, a soft, nature-inspired palette blends with vintage accents and contemporary finishes, creating a calm and considered space to retreat to between game drives.
