What to Expect
Elephant Point Estate is situated in a region renowned for its natural diversity and concentration of big game, and is undoubtedly one of the best game viewing areas in the Kruger National Park. In addition to elephants, you will see herds of buffalo, prides of lion, leopards and numerous antelope species. Elephant Point borders the Kruger National Park and is also neighbour to the World famous and exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve. The estate is a 5 hour drive from Johannesburg or 60 minutes from the Mpumalanga Kruger airport following a 45-minute flight from Johannesburg.
Highlights
Thanda Lodge is a self catering holiday home in Kruger Park with four air conditioned bedrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. (some are outdoor showers). The rooms have a TV with satellite channels and a private patio. The living area has plenty of space for dining and enjoying meals with friends and family and boasts a comfortable living area with a fireplace and large flat screen TV with satellite channels. Outside there is a fantastic boma, an upper deck with loungers, a swimming pool to beat the African sun and an undercover patio with seating and a portable braai.
Experience an open game vehicle African Safari in one of the world’s most beautiful national parks. Elephant Point can arrange a game drive with a very reputable and professional operator. Well trained guides are at the beck and call of each client and are always prepared to go beyond the call of duty. They will share with you their vast knowledge of the bush as well as historical and indigenous experiences of the local communities.
